Ninna Nanna...maybe

After a week full of exams I did a few fun things this weekend.

Mike and I played ping pong and pool and we think its about time we start a ping pong society for photo club to be affiliated with. It was pretty fun.

then I hung out with people in the north arts studios sculpting wax, chatting and watching random movies like star wars and home alone.

Mike has been sculpting non-stop all weekend, he'll come home soon, but until then my macbook is my bff.

Saturday we went to a Dr. Seuss Party, danced for 3 hours. The place was intensely decorated in bright colors.

Today I had band practice. Ron asked me to join his band last weekend and now I sing and play the tamborine and keyboard. So...thats a first. But really fun.

I am going to challenge myself this week and wake up early to run every day. And I'm going to do it, and if you try to stop me, then I'll say, no please.

It was 60 degrees today and the entire day just felt amazing, I felt like I could not go inside.
Mike and I took a walk chomping apples and busted out the road bikes.
We biked over to class and the wind was warm
After class a girl on a bike and I bonded and rode together talking about weird cats
I studied on my porch and met my neighbor, who is really nice and has a lil dog named max that weighs 2 pounds!
Then people came up to me and asked if there were any apartments in my house for rent, and they were really nice.
Then Mike came back and we discussed biology and I made Tortellini soup.

Just people around and talking today it feels good.
It is a little scary that 2 weeks ago it was -10, but I'll try not to worry. too much.

Thank goodness for this break, I was freezing

Leaving Ucup tonight I decided to go to the corner grocery store that I barely go to to pick up some food and it closed at 10pm, which is strange because it usually is open 24 hours.

I decided to drive to Meijer because i was already out anyways and down the road aways I realized I didn't have my lights on. (This often happens when I drive out of very lit parking lots like a blockbuster or something.) When I realized this I turned them on automatically. My immediate thought, " I hope i don't get pulled over" Then a cop pulled out behind me and pulled me over.

I put on a perky, "whoops I'm a stupid idiot girl" deal and he let me off the hook and I think he was freezing anyway. I hadn't been pulled over since 2004.

Went to Meijer, came back home and completely fell down in the driveway in the most comical way, things flying everywhere. I fell on my face.

HUGE sleeping bag type coat that goes to my mid calf.

and I am still cold.
Just walking around today makes my face so cold it hurts.

and all I can see are girls wearing stretch pants Ugg boots and a little fleece.
and they don't look cold at all!

What the....

Why do I have to look homeless to feel warm?
