Finally it is Obama day!
I feel far more hopeful than yesterday
so hopefully...
my friends will stop being laid off
I will be accepted to a sweet university with FUNDING for me
and our little US will start to turn around for everyone except those rich corrupt companies.
I woke up around 8am and remembered it was Obama's first day of work and became completely giddy waking up Mike and jumping around excited screaming
"Its Obama Day! Anything can HAPPEN!"
He was reluctant at first but he soon joined in and we celebrated together and got tea before class.
In History we talked about Lincoln's assassination and what that meant, especially post civil war. Things in the US just started going to shit again.
I know we are all thinking it, but I hope Obama doesn't end up in that same situation. He's too good, its all too good it seems. But I will stay optimistic. Yes.
I came back home and Mike and I watched the Inauguration and our mouths gaped at Aretha's beautiful bowed hat and the 2 million people and cheered at the thought of not having to worry about how Bush is killing our country and smiled about how great an orator Obama is.
We also went to Yoga tonight and it felt so good.
I feel refreshed in many different ways.
And not dreading tomorrow like I was

In less than a month I have managed to
move out of Chicago
move back into Mt. P
Travel up to TC
Travel down to FL
Back up to TC and
as of this last Thursday come back to Mt. P
exhausting and hopefully worth it.
I am a bit in love with my new apartment

I am a bit in love with my new apartment
Its small and warm and its all mine
Classes started today and I was in dread for some reason, but I think this semester will be really good. It feels like I've been given a chance to start over and try really really hard. And then February will be the deciding factor for the next phase in my life. I'm not sure what my backup plan is if i don't get into UofM but...options will come I am sure.
Over break I visited with the Allen Family in FL and the Kent/Smith Family in TC.
Did some snowboarding- got a concussion and whiplash after being peer pressured by Mike and his Sister to get some big air.
Now it is slightly funny.
The library still has no open positions for me, which is a huge bummer. So I am jobless and just bought textbooks which totaled more than two months of rent for me. No moneyz.
I think I am going to try to start an etsy.
blahblahblah
